the last league... (of the sem).
I've had a busy week. Last weekend, my time was mostly occupied by IIU debate league. I teamed up with Afifah from Matric and called ourselves "Gravity" (she likes this John Mayer song, hehe..) Later on Sunday night, I attended the Rector's Cup finals in Matric. ---------- Note to self: ---------- I'm missing home already ='(

(I don't think I'll have a non-busy one anytime soon *sighs*)
As of right now, I am still busy to type a proper blog entry.
But I'm in the mood anyway, so, here goes.
It was an interesting tourney.
We had outside Unis participating - MMU, UiTM (Arau and Shah Alam), USM as well as several other institutions (including secondary schoolkids).
All in all, there were about 40 teams.
Topics this time around covered sports, social, environment, and rights issues.
We didn't break into top 4.
But we did have our rollercoaster rides and been in the top rooms for a few rounds, which was both scary and exciting.
It was fun, I enjoyed working with you, Afifah =)
She's good with technicality, and is always reminding me of them.
Which helped a lot since structure isn't exactly my strength.
Thank you =)
Hehe...
I won a book voucher for winning the "Best Female Speaker" award.
Yay, maybe I can finally get that Almanac I've been wanting to purchase!
(why maybe..? well, if there are no chic lits on feature ;p)
Congrats to Azrul, Faiz and Meor for winning the cup too!
Special thanks to Ash and Ezrin who made the trip to see me take the prize.. and for taking a pic of my back instead of my face onstage. Haha ;D
Oh, what made the experience even sweeter was the fact that Ashraf tagged along as my personal cheerleader throughout league AND Rector's prize-giving.
*hugs*
Thanks for taking the time to be there, babe, your presence gave me such an assurance.
"143!!"
;-)
