Roadtrips.
Roadtrips. Then there’s the one on Sunday where we went to the Curve after Royals selection… Oh, back to the Curve trip. Then, on Wednesday. ---------- I know I started the entry by giving the impression that last week was more of an all play and no work thing. Then there’s the BM “esei ilmiah” which drove all of us close to boiling point when we had to translate and re-translate stuff. Then there were more quizzes, final hands-on lab test… (need I say more?) Tomorrow itself (Sunday), is my computer systems and programming finals. And then after Raya, we’ll have more final papers to sit for from the 31st Oct to 13th Nov… The amount of studying and cramming I’m about to do will be dangerous. =) ----------
2006-10-14, 3:02 a.m.
I’ve been on a few for the past week.
First, there’s the one I took with Ira on that one ‘secret mission’.
We traveled with a manual Kancil.
Just the two of us.
It was a first.
We bitched, we sang our hearts out and we ride, baby!
(haha… ;D )
There’s this one time when she almost hit a divider near IKANO.
But I have forgiven you for almost ending my young life.
Just cause it’s only ‘almost’ ;p
Oh talking about that, I initially thought I screwed it up.
But I recently got to know, I didn’t.
I actually made the cut to represent the Uni’s Junior team this November in Sarawak.
As happy as I am to be given the opportunity, I am just as freaked by the expectation and standards that we have to meet.
Ezanee, Tasneem and Hamzah were champions of Royals Junior last year.
That’s a HUGE shoe to fill (never mind the fact that I’m technically size 9 or 10! - Heh. Lame joke ;p)
I hope we’ll create a worthy track record.
I need to give debate more attention, which I didn’t as much this sem.
InsyaAllah, I will.
*prays*
Yeah, Ira and I spent an hour or so at the bazaar and bought some nice accessories. I’ve spotted a bunch of stuff I’d like to get if I were to go with my parents… :D
(parents = credit cards = get it?)
We had iftar at Kenny Roger’s and continued at Burger King on the way back.
Faruqi, who was driving, got lost for a while. But thank you for bringing me back to Uni in one piece u guys ;p
Amira, Ezrin, Sheena and I decided to rent a car to break fast off campus.
We got the same Kancil btw. Haha.
It was nuts because it was a last-minute thing… so we were pretty undecided on where to go exactly.
At first, we wanted to go to Bamboo (the amazing claypot chicken rice hideaway), then we took a left turn instead of right. Haha ;D
So, we thought “Ok, why not OU?”… so we headed towards that direction.
“Wait you guys, wanna go Midvalley tak?”, Ez said.
We were like “Ok, wherever-lah. It’s cool”.
Then I’m not sure if we missed another turn or someone decided to change destination again… but more places were mentioned.
I think they were “Damansara? Bangsar? Etcetera…”.
Suddenly, Amira stated this, “Eh, we’re close to PJ-lah… wanna go to matric?”.
I thought she was joking.
Then she added, “I miss Aroma’s claypot-lah!! Come, let’s go!”.
Sheena and I looked at each other at the backseat and we were like, “Yeah… why not?”.
We got excited ;D
Ez already started driving towards matric centre.
(haha… ;D)
So, that’s where we went for Iftar.
IIU Matriculation Centre’s Aroma Cafe.
I quickly messaged Fadzil to come and join us - I’m glad we’re still cool with each other despite the minor bump we had. You’re always a friend to me =)
So, there we were in our alma mater. Sat in the café where we spent most of our bonding time in our last semester of matrics.
It was beautiful.
We also had more guts to face the security people this time (ahem, don’t want to elaborate much ;p)
But, let’s say – all it took was confidence and good acting skills to get into the centre after visiting hours ;-)
Hahaha….
We dropped by Midvalley later to shop a bit.
(Hey, girls will be girls).
It was fun! =)
But, don’t let that deceive you.
It’s also been hectic.
I have/had so many things due.
There was the computer assignment we had to do last minute since all of us had busy weekends.
And a HUGE thanks to Ashraf for being our saviour for offering to help us with our array and pointer codings =)
Shazwa, Sofia and I owe you one ;-)
The due timeline was 12 midnight that day and we handed it in at about midnight itself!
Amira and Shazwa, glad that one’s over!
*phew*
*faints*
Please pray for me.
*hopes*
Ps: It seems that North Korea's following Iran's footsteps..
Diplomacy + talks + deals = failed.
UN = probable sanctions + probable military actions.
Know what's funny? It seems that they did not detect any radioactive particles in N.Korea's air after the supposed explosion due to nuclear testing.. Something's fishy..
But that's just my personal opinion.
Hm, [read] and form yours.
