school shootings. my say.

School shootings.
How can this ever be justified?
For the past month, so many cases have been reported in the news.
Here’s one of the latest ones.
(It’s within the Amish society. A peace-loving community. What an invasion to their sanctity, don’t you think?)
It makes me… sick.

Imagine you as a student going through your routine school day, expecting to go home once the bell ring and see your family again… but at an unfortunate twist of fate.
Some mad man decides to invade your class at gunpoint and you’re at risk of losing your friends, watching them die as this psycho gun them down one by one… and in the worst case scenario… you end up losing your own life.
Is THIS what youths, especially in the States have to face these days?
And the fact that in most cases, those who victimized doesn’t even gave any direct relation or anger towards those killed.
It’s usually done on a random basis.
I don’t get it.
I think some mental/depression diagnosis should be done unto people with manic potentials. Since quite a number of these shooters have a history of mental disturbances.
But what about those without and out of the blue? …… *sighs*.
Perhaps schools should increase security?
Guards should take identification matters more seriously…
You know those panels that you have to go through in airports which beeps to alert metallic substances?
Why not have that?
….. It saddens me.
I wouldn’t want my child (in the future) or anybody’s child in fact to have to fear attending school and getting shot while at it.
It’s stupid…. And very very sick =(

I am very grateful that this danger is not taking place in Malaysia.
But the trend of copycat crimes are increasing by the day.
You’ll never know.

Why the hell am I thinking about this so much?
Cos it’s disturbing.
Ugh.
