IIU league... and "unintended"
FYI, I ended up not going to Terengganu for BTN. SO, Even though I had to travel on my own to Gombak during the weekend (which is exhausting). ---------- Since I took the LRT ride, my stop was at Bukit Jalil for both days. ----------- I fell in love with this song by Muse. "Unintended" You could be my unintended I'll be there as soon as I can First there was the one who challenged You could be my unintended I'll be there as soon as I can I'll be there as soon as I can Before you

Had fever the day before departure and parents refused to let me go.
Haha ;D
And FYI again, I STILL have a slight fever, this time teamed with flu and cough.
Lovely eh? ;p
This weekend I attended IIU League.
Ira had sudden plans in Johor, so she went off and left me alone (nyeh3… ;p) and partnerless.
The moment I arrived at the venue for debate, I instantly looked around for a teammate.
Lucky me, Tasneem’s partner, Edib, has left for Indonesia this weekend.
How convenient, huh?
So, there and then we decided to debate together. Since Ira and I have not registered our team yet, we went by the name of Tasneem’s team – “Cursed”.
It was fun ;-) I had a great time working with her.
She’s one of the most passionate, convincing speakers I’ve ever known.
She’s another one to make my list of “able-to-make-shit-sound-good” people… hehe ;-)
We had 5 rounds of debate and was ranked 3rd best team overall.
Not bad eh? =)
Tasneem herself is the 3rd best speaker for this week.
Topics were :-
“THW give American citizens the freedom to practice polygamy and polyandry.”
“TH believes that Fundamental Capitalism is the solution to poverty”.
“TH believes that soccer should be played with 2 balls”.
“THW allow hospitals and clinics to advertise”.
“THW give Venezuela permanent seat in the Security Council”.
I am satisfied with the practice I had.
I LOVE it how my mind’s challenged more than usual.
Needed it. Badly.
I think I’ve been too shallow.
And it so happened that TV3’s Jom Heboh! Carnival was taking place right there.
So I ended up roaming about the whole place.
On my own.
It’s pretty empowering to just do stuff yourself, alone.
The carnival was nice, food was good.
I bought a few types of kek lapis.
Atuk and nenek used to make the best ones =)
(ps: I still miss you, Atuk. So much…)
I walked by some local celebs – Rosyam Nor, Linda Onn, Nana (AF), Adi Fashla (AF).
Others were gawking at them.
I personally wish it was Mawi instead (hehehe…)
But I am unsure of who I’m dedicating it to…
Or who it reminds me of…
Why do I always blow hot and cold…?
*ponders*
Choice to live my life extended
You could be the one I'll always love
You could be the one who listens to my deepest inquisitions
You could be the one I'll always love
But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before
All my dreams and all my balance
She could never be as good as you
Choice to live my life extended
You should be the one I'll always love
But I'm busy mending broken pieces of the life I had before
