This song just suits the mood I was in while watching..
The Break Up.
Amira, Ezrin and I went out to watch this movie yesterday.
It was a romantic comedy, one of my favourite genres.
I wouldn’t categorise it as anything over the top sort of special… but a lot of the lines said in the movie really hit me.
Especially parts when the two main argued.
There were times when I had tears in my eyes.
I know my two friends find it funny that I felt so much of it since they actually went through the same thing at some point.
And I didn’t… not exactly.
But, personally, I wish I did… because I’ve moved on way too soon before, without saying the things I wish I had said.
I’m making a promise to myself that next time… I would.
=)

That’s the ticket. I just felt like posting it.
Haha…

Taken while lining up to buy popcorn.
… yes, we’re nutty like that ;-)

Debate training went alright too.
We did a case building exercise which was pretty fun.
The motion was ‘THW ban bars which allows hitting as a form of profit’.
The issue is currently hot in China and Japan. It seems that there are bars where one can pay for the service of hitting a person (staff member) of their choice… (freaky eh?)
Kind of like a stress relief thing.
So, questions posed were :-
a) is legalizing violence as a form of stress reliever good for the society?
b) is it right to make it a form of business?
c) then again, if it’s violence with consent, isn’t it a legal business anyway?
d) why are violence-based entertainment like wrestling and boxing allowed and encouraged, but not this?
e) isn’t morality standard at stake?
f) then again, who’s the government to set the yardstick of moral standards?
g) what about freedom of choice?
It was, overall a pretty good discussion.
Loved the critical question asked and answered.
And I didn’t sound as foolish as before (from my point of view anyway ;p) this time.
So, I’m cool with it.

I’ve been having quiz after quiz, after quiz… so far.
I think I’ve quizzes daily now!
But I’m yet to really feel that sense of satisfaction doing them.
I have to admit I haven’t been studying like I should.
I’ve to start staying up real late again.
There’s something about night time I can’t quite point out as to what…
I guess I just focus better at night.
The key is to sleep during the day ;p
Hehehe…

Oh, I’ll be staying in campus during weekends too soon.
Midterm, tests, more work…
Bless me, ya Allah.
