funny dates.
I finally managed to catch up wit Afiq yesterday for lunch. It was nice to talk to you in person again instead of via blog-world. ---------- Btw, a new friend of mine, Ashraf, just got his braces done. I am yet to see it as I type this, but I’m sure he’ll look fine and it’s all good. Oh, I have to include a funny incident last week when I was hanging out with Ash after debate practice. Hahaha… ;D ---------- My mid terms are coming up in about 2 weeks or so and I’ll probably not be able to return home these coming weekends. Ira’s been contemplating whether she should change course from engineering to law. It has been said that this is possible and some of our trainers can make sure of it. *ponders on issue* Oh, Ira. I don’t agree that after we get married and have kids, quitting working as an engineer is a form of wasting the degree. We become household engineers ;-) hehe… get it? ---------- I wish I could update as often, but my schedule’s nuts.

(And I doubt we’ll be free to do so again anytime soon ;p)
He gave me the ‘princessy’ box he promised, for my birthday.
It took him 3 hours to make and since he’s a frequent reader of my blog (and also a good friend)...
Here’s a graphic tribute, Afiq. Thank you =)
I’ve decided to take your comment on me being ‘westernised’ openly, though at the back of my mind I’m still wondering if that’s a compliment or a “dodol” (in your definition ;p).
Haha…
I’m glad things are going so well in your relationship (say “HI!” for me to e ya ;D) and all’s happy in your world.
And may your futuristic designs in architecture which lecturers refuse to accept make record-breaking discovery history in the near future.
Let me be the 1st few engineers to claim some fame too yeah?
I’m all for Afiq Inventions!
*cheers*
So, chill ya? ;-)
He’s been restricted to soft food for now.
I kind of made him a waffle fan (especially of ones available in girls’ colleges!) recently.
So, I’ll be treating him to more of it as a coming-of-braces thing ;D
He’s one of the sweetest things ever and I’m glad we clicked so quickly.
Ps: Guys with braces are cute anyway… I’m not teasing now, trust me =)
We were approached by a religious group in campus and were given leaflets entitled “Because U Love Me”.
It’s a comic strip which says that when a male and female ‘dates’, marriage is barakah.
Check it out.
I respect their mission, I really do.
It’s noble and they meant well.
But we were hanging out in the open with quite a number of people around us at that present moment.
We were also ONLY talking.
NOTHING more.
A little bit extreme (the leaflet is), don’t you think?
=)
Well, that’s IIU (UIA) for you.
I rest my case.
I checked some of my drawing assignments’ scores earlier and was pretty disappointed with what I got.
It’s the average score of the class, but… I wanted to do better.
Guess my working SMART ways HAVE to change to working HARD.
*sighs*
Personally, I have been contemplating the same thing ever since back in matriculation.
But we’ve both agreed on the conclusion that, truth is, we can do it… we just haven’t been pushing ourselves enough… (a.k.a lazy peasy lemon squeezy) to be good at what we’re studying.
Ira claims she’s more of a reading type of person than a doing (a.k.a calculus questions) type of person.
As for me?
Gosh, I’m not sure myself. I’m not constant in my interests/methods.
So, I can’t really say…
But I’ve been trying to make/push myself to like/love what I initially chose.
Ugh, I’ve gotten tired of telling myself that I’m meant for a different course every time I fail to get the grades I long for.
Yes, I’m a stubborn optimist.
So, let me crash and burn.
;p
And did I mention I smashed my laptop?
The screen’s now in pieces.
This happened last week.
I don’t want to get into detail cos I may just fall into depression which I don’t need now… haha ;D
Have a good week.
I hope I will too.
=)
