Israel-Lebanon.
The Israel-Lebanon war is getting worse by the day. All this started from two soldiers being kidnapped in a raid. I know their history of war goes wayyy back. So, political interest and security issues aside… WHAT IS the solution to middle-east? FYI, it also hurt when I had to speak in manner training for debate and was assigned to take Israel’s side… with what they’re doing to Palestinians… *sighs*

How long will this go on?
The U.N. draft that is being done by United States and France is still pending.
It seems that both Israel and Lebanon aren’t satisfied or convinced enough of it, with Israel doubting Hezbollah will abide by the resolution and Lebanon rejecting and making further amendments to it.
But at the same time, both Israel and Hezbollah is increasing their defense and attacks.
The numbers of casualties increase by the day.
How will this lead to any resolution at all?
How will this encourage diplomacy?
Everyone’s a hypocrite, sadly.
But let’s look at the current direct harm.
It’s obvious now that Hezbollah’s demand of the release of Arab prisoners in exchange for the soldiers from Israel would not be met, would it?
*sighs*
Is it worth having hundreds of civilians killed brutally and weapons (rockets, bombs, missiles) worth millions wasted for it?
Atleast, when the prisoners were under captive, they were ALIVE.
And so were the over thousand casualties.
God, I beg upon you to enlighten their leaders with better, more peaceful ways of achieving justice/truth in what they want to achieve…
It hurts to keep up with the news, because more and more of my innocent brothers and sisters in Islam are suffering.
And all I can do is watch…
It hurts.
