It’s been a full-on 2 days.
Yesterday, I went shopping at 5 different malls – Bangsar Village, IKEA, Ikano Powerhouse, Mid Valley and KLCC.
We were searching for the right foldable chair/bed for grandma.
She wants to accompany grandpa in the ward at the hospital and wanted a ‘comfortable piece’ to use.
So we got her that =)

Grandpa’s diagnosis is out.
He suffers diabetes (we know this for some years already).
Now, he needs a bypass.
What’s a bypass?
It’s this operation where a part of his blood vessel connected to his heart would be cut off (due to clogged fat) and then reconnected to allow normal blood flow.
This operation takes about 8 to 12 hours.
The chance of survival is there, but the chance of his condition worsening is also present.
Dad explained to me the possible negative outcomes and I am scared… for my atuk.
I don’t want to get into details about them (or this’ll end up sounding like a biology reference post) …
But it’s risky.
Life and death sort… *sighs*
I plead you for your prayers for my grandpa’s wellbeing.
I love this man very much…
I don’t want to lose him… =(

His operation’s at the end of July.
I’ll be in Uni by then.
I hope I’ll still be able to come by to give my support/love.

OMG, today at the hospital during evening visiting hours, I actually DID bump into MAWI!!
I told you I’m not a fan… but I think I lied.
I didn’t even know I’m lying to me til today!

I have met local celebrities before and they had next-to-none effect on me.
But with Mawi, my reaction completely deceived me!
Cos my heart beat increased unexpectedly and I just felt like screaming, “Mawi!!”.
But I didn’t, I held back my sudden fanatic-ness.
It wasn’t easy.. because he stood right in front of me for a full minute.
60 seconds!
I wanted to take a photo with him or say something… anything!
(i.e. “My family voted for you during AF3, we thought you deserved it!”, which we did)
But I didn’t say/do anything…
Now I wish I did!!
(hahaha… I sound pathetically nuts ;D)

It went like this -
I was holding my sleeping baby brother on my shoulders and the security guard stopped me in my tracks to inform that kids aren’t allowed to visit during weekdays.
He spent some time to explain this to me.
(Actually, I knew this, but I pretended to not know sometimes and sneak my siblings in anyway! Hehe… ;p)
So, guess who walked right out of the lift right then and there?
Yes, Mawi.
(OMG, MAWI!)
He was in this neon green shirt and a cute cap, with about 10 people accompanying him.
He’s actually pretty good-looking *gushes*. Better than how I expected in real life.
He looked straight at me while I was rolling my eyes (which was meant for the guard, but I did this while looking at him)
So, he must’ve thought it was meant for him… because he held my gaze for a while.
Stupid me, I didn’t recognize him then.
The moment I did, he turned away…
(s***!!)
Then, he gave me a 2nd look (OMG,OMG!) and nodded (like a gesture of respect)
I returned the nod… ;-)
And that was it.
He walked past me towards the exit with his entourage.
In 5 minutes, he’s gone from my view.
(No!!!!)

I never ever thought I’d react as such internally when I see Mawi.
For God’s sake, I think I insulted him more than I praised him all this while!
My whole family was laughing at me when I gushed about how I felt, they must’ve been amused or thought I’m crazy since I’m the most anti-Mawi among them (before this, ahem).

I liked the feeling though.
It’s the natural high I get when I’m in love…
(FYI, I’m NOT in love with Mawi. It’s a fan-meets-idol thing)
I can always use a dose of that, haha ;D

Okay, enough with Mawi already…

Gone a bit blank after recalling the Mawi incident.
I need to breathe…
