positively political.
Wow, it’s happened. Let’s all wait and see what happens. ---------- And on to Iraq, I salute the guy. I really hope a more peaceful Iraq will rise under the newly elected government. ---------- On a more domestic basis, I personally prefer Mahathir’s insights and long term results based decisions in ruling. Don’t get me wrong though, I respect BOTH men. Hopefully, our two great politicians will resolve well. ---------- Woops, my blog's ALL news lately. On a lighter note, I’ve been watching loads of reality TV. And I like watching “Beauty and The Geek” too! Oh, “The Scholar” is coming to an end too. *Puteri goes channel surfing*

U.S. and Iran actually agreed on something that both refer to as “a positive step”.
Read about it here.
It seems that the ‘package’ offered earlier by the EU has been upgraded.
U.S. now offers to provide some of its nuclear technology while EU helps them build light-nuclear reactors.
I guess involvement through contribution is their way of monitoring Iran’s nuclear activity.
Hm, smart.
There’s no final say on whether Iran will take this offer.
Reports claimed this –
“Iran's top nuclear negotiator, Ali Larijani, said the proposals had "positive steps" but that talks were needed to clear up ambiguities. Iran promised to study the proposals seriously, but gave no timeframe for a response.”
More “positive” news =)
Iraq’s PM, Al-Maliki has decided to release prisoners as a way of dissolving/decreasing sectarian violence.
Read about it.
Smart move also hm?
With all the kidnappings lately, he puts into people the mindset of ‘free-ing’, ‘releasing’… as a way to tackle the situation.
He’s not pro-violence.
As of now, 600 detainees have been released.
He promised more will follow suit (around 2,500 in total).
*amin*
Tun Mahathir, Malaysia’s ex-PM seems unsatisfied with the current PM.
He claims that majority of the plans and projects planned during his time as PM has been cancelled and this goes against an agreement he made with Abdullah upon him being hand-picked and chosen as Mahathir’s replacement.
(i.e. the scrapping of planned bridge to Singapore)
Pak Lah claimed that Mahathir has spent huge sums of money for mega-projects and finished all the money for the country.
No wonder Mahathir felt backstabbed huh?
Read about it.
He’s farsighted (in malay, ‘berpandangan jauh’).
And he’s also one of the best public speakers in the world.
I actually listen to his speeches on TV, unlike when our current PM gives his.
But, Abdullah needs to further substantiate himself to me, he’s too new.
*prays*
That’s what you get when you put me at home and away from the drama that social interaction within Uni can bring.
I read, analyse and think more!
I am a fan of Akademi Fantasia, I’m not ashamed to say this.
I think it’s one of the more entertaining local reality show, so sue me ;p
Hahaha ;D
I haven’t picked a favourite contestant yet, so we’ll see.
Initially, I thought it’s a stupid idea of a show.
But how it opens the eyes of the contestants, priceless.
The ‘beauties’ learned not to be as superficial.
The ‘geeks’ gets a social life 411.
And at the end of each episode, everyone appreciates each other more.
I just like happy endings (despite the weekly elimination) ;D
I already checked the winner before the show even aired here.
So, if you follow the program, I’m sorry…;p
Here comes the spoiler – it’s Melissa. (nyeh3)
I’m looking forward to see what tipped the scale with the Ivy League judges. Here's for you to have your say ... (If you want to ;p)
